Chevy Tahoe Wheels 17" --> 16"?

Have a 2001 with oem 17" wheels... got into an accident and the two left wheels were toast... bought a set of OEM 16" and they won't fit... the 16" wheels hit the brake caliper. Are the rotors and or the brake calipers larger on Tahoe trucks

.No. They are designed to take the larger wheel. You truck has beefed up calipers and rotors which offer better stopping power. It is a lot of work to change all this. Depending on the cost of tow of the stock wheels. You may consider going with aftermarket
