Will these low profile tires 225/35/18 leave a big gap in the tire area?

I have a 92 ES300 Lexus, I am going to upgrade the wheels and tires to 18" wheels and low profile 225/35/18 tires. My questions is should i get bigger tires to avoid a big gap? Or should these tires be fine?

The ride is really good, but beware of the sidewalls, with the lightweight it had to come from somewhere, i havent yet but have heard of ppl having problems with punctured sidewalls. But honestly for me I love the lightweight and they still handle business. Along with the better ride you are going to lose some ability in the mud.
