DT Swiss makes a great wheel/hub combo. There is no better weight/price ratio wheelset available. I got my sub 1500g set for under $600. While they aren't flashy, they are a great value and extremely durable. The Campy's are cool looking, though!
The front rim is lighter than the rear and drilled for angled spoke entry, while the rear is drilled asymmetrically, with all spokes entering the rim on the non-drive-side to improve lateral rigidity. responsive wheelset that’s surefooted on its 20mm rims, but oozes class. The heads of the straight-pull spokes are hidden inside them, and the rear drive-side spokes are thicker to better handle pedalling loads. The outer rim wall isn’t drilled, and the inner wall is milled to lighten it. Though not the lightest, on the road the Neutrons display urgent acceleration when sprinting, and they eat up climbs. The Neutrons are impressively constructed, with carbon and aluminium hub bodies. Simple pop-off plastic dust caps cover the Allen key-adjustable hub bearings.
