Wheels -- a newly created crew of stunt drivers -- will attempt to break the world record distance jump of 302 feet in a four-wheeled vehicle at the 100th anniversary of the Indianapolis 500 at the Indianapolis... Just like something out of the toy track, a masked mystery driver will speed down a 90-foot ramp, suspended on a 10-story door (100 feet tall) and soaring across the infield of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Did you play with Hot Wheels as a kid. "It was one of my first introductions into the world of cars and racing. So Page 2 decided to ask a few questions of the mystery driver who will making the attempt:. We will be doing right around 105 mph and, through the scientific abilities of the team, we will hopefully break the record. The feeling of strapping into the V-Drop, that I played with as a kid, for this year's Indy 500 is, well, as outrageous as it sounds. However, the team of engineering and design experts involved in this project have been hand selected from the best in the world.
