Can I change wheels and tires on my chevy pickup?

I would like to change the wheels and tires on my 2003 chevy s-10 2wd pickup with the standard suspension from 205/75-15 and 15/7 inch wheels to 235/60-16 and 16/8 wheels. Will there be any problems fitting these new wheels and tires.

You can make almost any tire/rim fit but you need to make sure that you have the dealer change the settings in your pcm and ABS module, if not your shift points, speedo, and abs system will not work right. You may have to pay a fee for this sevice but

"If it (gasoline) keeps rising, we're going to have to consider cutting back our routes," Choate said. George Litherland, general manager for The Flower Shop on South Kentucky Avenue, said the company's gas bill went up by $200 last month. However, the volunteer drivers, who are mostly older, had difficulty getting in and out of the low-riding vehicles, and they couldn't carry as many meals in the small vehicles. Choate said the delivery vans are their biggest expense. "In our opinion, that (the checkup) is just as important as the nutrition," Choate said. The Flower Shop is starting to consolidate deliveries to save on gas.

These are factory rims for a 1995-1999 GMC Yukon, Chevy Suburban, Chevy Tahoe, and Chevrolet and GMC trucks. The tires are only ok. We are selling the rims. I have a set of 2 OEM Rims with ok tires. The wheels are dirty as we have not had time to clean them, but they are not bent or anything. These are 6 Lugs.
