Are Mavic Aksium wheels compatible with an 8 speed cassette?

I want to do a wheel upgrade, but I'm finding that most won't handle an 8 speed cassette. I can't find any info on the Mavic site about what sized cassettes any of their wheels take, so I'm hoping someone can help me out.

Sounds like you want just a wheel upgrade. Those wheels will work with your 8 speed system. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
