Wheels 700c - Wheels

Is it possible to fit 650c or 700c wheels on a 1970s bicycle that currently has 26 x 1 3/8 inch wheels?

I don't know much about bicycles, and I've been looking around for the answer to this question. I recently bought a 1970s, 3-speed bicycle that currently has 26 x 1 3/8 inch wheels installed. I was wondering if it was possible to put 650c or 700c wheels

The two things to consider is the clearance between the tyre and the frame / forks, and will the brakes have enough adjustment to line up with the rims.
If those two factors can be resolved, then yes, they will fit.
