How big of tires and wheels can I put on my car?

Corolla S, it currently has stock wheels/tires 205/r 14 or something close to that...I was wondering if Its okay to put new 15" rims and tires on it just to make it look better, Im not concerned with gas mileage.

With the vehicle on a hoist, mechanics attach lasers or cameras devices to the wheel, measure and set the correct configuration so that the tires run straight and tilt correctly on turns. Worn tires are prone to hydroplaning, while tires out of alignment will not only hasten tire wear but make the vehicle unstable on the road and ultimately affect handling and control, says Troy Wilson of MacDonald Pontiac Buick GMC Ltd. So can, to an extent, a misaligned wheel or wheels, but more often than not its the pulling to one side that is a giveaway. Troy notes that all four wheels should be checked when the vehicle is aligned to ensure all are running straight and true. A tire that is out of balance can cause vibrations felt through the vehicles steering wheel. One of the big causes of misalignments are pot holes and curbs. Cost of a four wheel alignment is $70, he says. The steering wheel might not be properly centred.
